Board
Denis Waddell, Chairman
Denis is a chartered accountant with extensive experience of corporate, financial and operations management of public mining companies. He is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Denis is currently chairman of Tanami Gold NL, Executive Chairman of Orion Gold NL and previously worked with KPMG, Alcoa of Australia Limited and Metana Minerals NL.
Mr Waddell founded the Company in 2000 after several years researching and monitoring the developing carbon credit market and related forestry initiatives.
Ian Sandeman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Ian has twenty five years experience in the international forest products sector. He has held senior executive positions in both the public and private sector including Mondi Limited, Hancock Natural Resource Group and State Forests NSW.
He was involved in setting up the Carbon Program within the Boston-based Hancock Natural Resource Group and has had extensive international experience working with companies in Japan, the USA, Australia, Europe and South Africa.
Ian holds a BSc (Forestry), B (B & A) (Honours) and a MBA, all from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Stephen Mann, Non-Executive Director
Stephen is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and has more than 30 years of experience in public practice. He was a partner in BDO Chartered Accountants and Advisers (Perth) for 22 years with the last 11 years in the role of managing partner.
Stephen established the Corporate Finance division of BDO Perth and was the partner in charge of this division until he retired from practice in 2003. Since 2003, Stephen has acted as the chief financial officer of the Nacap Asia Pacific Group as well as other consultancy and directorship roles.

David Valentine
David has over sixteen years experience in general management, management consulting and the international forest products sector. He has held senior management positions in both private companies and an international consulting firm.
Prior to joining Altus Renewables, David was working with Pöyry Forest Industry as manager of the Shanghai, China forestry consulting team. In his role with Plantations International he oversaw the management of an $80 million commercial plantation estate.
David holds a BSc and a M.For.Sc from Canterbury University in New Zealand and a MBA from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Kim has over twenty years experience working in the private sector including significant experience in financial and company secretarial roles with various Australian Stock Exchange publicly listed companies.
